    BTW Swim Families,

    We have a few things to share as the team gets ready to attend the State Championship this weekend.

    Senior swimmer Duncan Hughes has turned his hair-shaving for State into a fundraiser for Make-A-Wish Oklahoma. You can support the cause through Thursday at his Go Fund Me page:

    The State meet takes place in Edmond on Friday, Feb. 15 and Saturday, Feb. 16.

    Anyone is welcome to attend the meet. The State meet will take place in Edmond this year; it is scheduled to return to the Jenks Aquatic Center in 2020 and 2021.

    WHERE: Mitch Park YMCA, 2901 Marilyn Williams Drive, Edmond, OK 73003.

    WHEN: Meet starts at 10:00 a.m. both Friday, Feb. 15 (Prelims) and Saturday, Feb. 16 (Finals.)

    Doors open for spectators at 9:00 a.m. each day. Plan to arrive early as the facility gets very crowded, especially on Saturday. The team is staying at Springhill Suites Oklahoma City Quail Springs - 3201 W. Memorial Road, Oklahoma City, OK 73134

    Don’t forget we have another restaurant FUNdraiser coming up on March 5th - at BOTH Taziki’s locations in Tulsa.

    And our annual banquet celebrating the swimmers will take place in April or early May. Details will be shared when that date is confirmed. It’s a fun pot-luck dinner event for the whole family.
