BTW Swimming - Chipotle Fundraiser on 1/28 & More
Our next fundraising dinner takes place this Tuesday, January 28 from 5 - 9 pm at Chipotle - 5730 E. 41st St. Suite 200, Tulsa, OK 74135
A percentage of all of our supporters’ sales will be donated to the BTW Swimming Booster Club. Three ways to guarantee your purchases count:
> Show the cashier a digital flyer on your phone prior to paying. (Attached to this email.)
> Show the cashier a paper flyer prior to paying.
> Flying flyer-free? Just mention the fundraiser to the cashier prior to paying!
(Online orders will *not* be included in the fundraiser total.)
We have created an Event page for it on Facebook. If you're a Facebook user, please feel free to share that event page, mark yourself as going, and invite any family and friends to attend: https://www.facebook.com/events/175914840434421/
We hope to see you there!
Many thanks to Ashley Hopper for sharing her fantastic photos from our Senior Night meet! And thanks to coach Alton Wallace for arranging that for us. You can view the photos on her Google Photos album page here: https://photos.app.goo.gl/s3PAYDCB3xAj2yCBA
I think you must have a Google account to view them. We'll ask Ashley if we can also share the photos through our team SmugMug photo site in case there's anyone who doesn't have a Google account and can't view them on the Google page.
Someone had a question about how to wash parkas. That information is included in your Parka Rental Agreement, if you have that, and we'll share it here:
Parka Care Instructions (to retain the resistant quality of the parka):
- Hang to dry after every use
- If washing is needed:
- Machine wash separately in COLD water
- DO NOT USE SOAP or BLEACH
- Line dry or dry on permanent press cycle to DAMP ONLY and hang to finish air drying
The Swim Boosters will wash all rental parkas upon return at the end of the season. If you need to wash your rental parka before the end of the season and do not have equipment to do so, please contact the Booster Club President and they will plan to get it washed and returned.
Our next swimming event is the 6A Eastern Regionals Championship meet taking place at the Jenks Aquatic Center on Friday, Feb. 7 at 5 pm (Prelims) and Saturday, Feb. 8 at 5 pm (Finals.) (Please note that this is different than the 12 pm start time that was listed on our schedule earlier.) The coaches will announce the Regionals team soon. The Top 24 swimmers in individual events and Top 16 relay teams from among both the East and West Regionals Finals qualify for the 6A State Championship meet in Jenks on Feb. 21-22.
We also have the Regionals Pasta Party that will take place on Thursday, Feb. 6 from 6 - 8 pm at Mackenzie Salcher's home.
We will send more detailed info as we get closer to these events.
All the best,
BTW Swim Communications
