BTW Swim Families, 

As you know, our Varsity meet on Tuesday, Nov. 17th has been cancelled by Edmond schools. We have tentative administration approval to host a home dual meet with Union HS on that day instead. This meet will be for both our Varsity and JV swimmers. 

While we do not yet have final approval, and have been requested to keep the number of people on deck as low as possible, we do need to go ahead and plan. This includes having our families sign up to volunteer. 

We will have no spectators on deck, but we will be doing a simple livestream of the meet. 

The meet will start at 5:30 pm. BTW Swimmers need to arrive at the pool by 3:00 pm on Tuesday, fully dressed to swim. Attendance from classes will be excused. Please eat before you come to the pool and be sure to bring enough water and snacks. Swimmers will not be allowed to leave the pool or school grounds between warm-ups and the start of the meet. BTW swimmers will warm-up from 3-4 pm and Union will warm-up from 4-5 pm. 

Please see the SwimTopia job signups for arrivals times of all volunteers. (Job Sign Up is active now. Click on the green Job Signup button next to the meet info on the Meets & Events page of the website to volunteer.) Computer & Dak operations, Health Check-in Table volunteers need to arrive by 4 pm. Locker Room monitors need to arrive by 4:45 pm. All other volunteers (lane timers, etc.) and officials should arrive by 5:00 - 5:10 pm. We're only needing 6 lane timers - 1 per lane. We will also need a bottled water donation for coaches and officials as well. 

BTW Swimmers will be socially distanced along the yellow benches and part of the bleachers. Do not bring any gear (fins/paddles/boards,etc) to the pool. Do bring backup goggles, BTW caps, and a backup swimsuit (last years team suit or a plain one.)
