This Week's Events (BTW Swimtopia Website)

• Mon. 1/24: Draw Rose Buddies at practice
  
  • Rose Buddies: A special pasta party is held the week of the annual Rose Invitational meet. The team holds a small gift exchange, like a Secret Santa exchange. Everyone writes their name on a slip of paper with a list of some of their favorite things. Everyone draws a name, shops for their Rose Buddy, and brings their gift(s) to the Rose Buddy pasta party. The gift amount is usually limited to $10 or $15.
  • Rose Sheets: At the Rose Buddy pasta party, there are sheets of paper with one swimmer's name on it. Everyone goes around and writes friendly, encouraging words on everyone else's sheet. The sheets are given to the swimmers right before the meet starts.
• Fri. 1/28: Rose Party 6:00 PM @ The Faulkner Home (1208 East 30th St.)
  
  • Items are still needed! Please sign up to bring something
• Sat. 1/29: @ Oologah: Rose Invitational (V & JV) (10700 US-169, Oologah, OK 74053)
  
  • Leave from the Education Service Center (3027 S. New Haven Ave.)

Dealing with COVID

As COVID case counts continue to be high, please remember:

• If your swimmer becomes ill with any COVID-related symptoms, such as a scratchy/sore throat, headache, fever, cough, runny or congested nose, etc. they should stay home until they receive a negative test. If their test is positive, please let the coaches know via the [email protected] and follow the TPS guidelines of isolating for at least 5 days.
• During practices, remind your swimmer to wear their masks as much as possible while not swimming.
