Each year a special pasta party is held the week of the annual Rose Invitational meet. Some traditions around the Rose Party, include:

• Rose Buddies: The team holds a small gift exchange, like a Secret Santa exchange. Earlier this week, everyone wrote their name on a slip of paper with a list of some of their favorite things, drew a name, has hopefully already shopped, and will bring their gift to the Rose Party. The gift amount is limited to $15.
• Rose Sheets: At the Rose Party, there will be sheets of paper with one swimmer's name on it. Everyone will go around and write some friendly, encouraging words on everyone else's sheet. The sheets will be given to the swimmers right before the meet starts.
