Congratulations to the State Team! It was a wonderful weekend full of excitement and it was great to see so many parents, grandparents, siblings and former Hornet swimmers in the stands cheering on our swimmers!

If you have not paid for state t-shirts, please contact Erica Irvine to make arrangements to pay.

No school this week, enjoy the break!

We will be starting swim and water polo until dismissal when we get back from break, so swimmers need to bring suits and gear starting Monday, February 28th. Seniors are excused from swim but are welcome to participate.

Congratulations to Gus Rolston, Willem Faulkner, Zach Catalano, Andrew King, Lola Barcus-Shafer, Parker Brobston, Tori Harris, Brittan Hutto and the rest of the state team.

Thank you to PJ and Michelle Brobston, Dave Kerpon, Dawn Faulkner and Jenn Salcher for volunteering to transport the State Team to Edmond and chauffeuring to and from the hotel, pool, and dinner.

Thank you Dawn for leaving in the middle of the swim meet each day to pick up box lunches for the swimmers.

Thank you Jenny Barcus-Shafer and Jenn Salcher for coordinating the great Hornet swag for each of the swimmers; they loved it!

Thank you Kevin Mitchell and Sharon Catalano for taking pictures at the meets each day. Anyone who has pictures from state can send them to Kevin Mitchell to be added to smug mug.

Seniors

If any seniors have gear (parkas, etc.) that needs to be returned to the team that can be brought back anytime before the end of the year..

And finally a reminder to seniors that as they decide on college or post graduation plans please send Coach Jenn a photo in their college gear or otherwise. Include a little short synopsis of what they want to study and/or do so that we can celebrate them on all of our social media channels. Please also include if they get any scholarships or anything else. We'd love to celebrate that!
