BTW Welcomes Coach Stelzer to the Hive!
Casey has been involved in swimming since 1991 when he began swimming in middle school and continued to swim throughout his high school career for the Guymon Gators Swim Club. While in college Casey began coaching the Guymon Gators. During his time as the coach for the Gators he had the opportunity to coach with two of the swimming industries biggest names: Cal Bentz, Head Coach for the University of Nebraska and Rick Payne, Head Austrian Olympic Swim Coach. During his apprenticeship with Cal and Rick he trained and coached several college and Olympic swimmers.
After college (2004) Casey moved to Owasso, OK where he worked at the Owasso YMCA as the Sports and Aquatics Director. He met his wife, Miranda at the YMCA in 2008 and they have two children. Zach, currently in the United States Navy who swam for Casey as an Owasso Ram and Kylee who is currently on the 7th Grade Owasso Ram Pom Squad and swam for her dad as a Claremore Stingray and then also as a Little Ram.

- 2012-2016 Claremore Stingrays (Rec Team) Assistant Coach
- 2015-2021 Owasso High School Head Coach
- Built a team based program and doubled the team size within 2 years
- Multiple top 8 finishes at the state level for relays and individual events, including a state champion 100 free placement
- Top 8 Team State Rankings for both the men’s and women’s teams multiple years
In his free time Casey enjoys camping, fishing, and tinkering in the garage.
Coach Casey will be assisted by Jenn Salcher and Virginia Gleason for the 2022-2023 Season.
