• Tuesday, 1/10 - Conference at Jenks: Selected Varsity and JV swimmers - swimmers will be notified on Monday. We will be leaving BTW at 3pm. Swimmers not attending will go to the cafeteria when the team leaves.

• Thursday, 1/12 - Oologah Dual Meet:  swimmers not attending conference and additional swimmers - swimmers will be notified Wednesday. As of now we will be leaving BTW at 3pm on bus with Coach Jenn; remaining swimmers will have normal practice with Coach Casey and Coach Virginia
• Other items:
  • Great job to all the swimmers that participated in Hell week practices and for everyone that did the 100x100 challenge. We had a 100% success rate for the 100 100s!!! T-Shirts and bag tags will be handed out in the next few weeks to swimmers that participated.
  • We will be working on our regionals team shortly, and any swimmers that may have questions regarding tech suits that will be on the team can talk to the coaches over the next week or so.
  • Thank you to everyone who sponsored a swimmer for 100x100 and supported the team - we can't be successful without you!
  • Thank you to everyone who volunteered and helped at the Hornet Invite - that's our biggest meet of the year and all of the teams invited had a good time! And we had some great, fun and fast swims!

From the Booster Club

• Sign ups will open later this week for the Rose Invitational Pasta Party, hosted by Alex, Erica and Mia Irvine, scheduled for Friday, January 27th. One of the great BTW Swim traditions takes place during this party. Please be sure to help ensure all slots are filled.
• Our first restaurant give back event will be at Chipotle on 15th Street on January 17th from 5 - 9 pm. After $150 in sales, BTW Swim will receive 33% of all sales. We will be receiving the flyer this week; it will be shared via email and social media. Please invite family, friends, colleagues so we can maximize sales. Four ways to guarantee our purchases count: Show the cashier a digital flyer prior to paying; Show the cashier a paper flyer prior to paying; Order online and use the Promo Code 48WK739 on the Chipotle app or website. Please note that fundraiser online ordering is only valid through pickup during your fundraiser’s scheduled date, time, and assigned restaurant. Ordering delivery for fundraisers is not permitted at this time
• The annual Swim Banquet will take place in April. This event is led by the Junior Class and put on by junior parents. Lauren Henson is leading the planning efforts this year for us. If any junior parents wish to help on the committee, please reach out to Lauren at [email protected].
• Need to order swimsuits, caps, or goggles for practice? Shop Swimoutlet.com. We have a link on Swimtopia that will direct you to the shop and a percentage of those sales are donated back to BTW Swim Booster Club.
• If you need replacement equipment - paddles, fins, kickboard, etc. shop at our Swimquick Store. 
• Thank You! for your fundraising efforts to support this year's 100 x 100 challenge. Our goal was $3,000 and parents/swimmers - you crushed it! You raised over $5,000!! One way funds will be used is purchasing additional headsets. The graphic below shows what they look like and how they are used. Please feel free to use the graphic for your own thank you cards or download any of the photos from the Smugmug site. Congratulations to our top 3 winners: 3rd place - Helen Maxwell raising $440, 2nd pace - Nellie Coates raising $805 and 1st place, raising $940....Georgia Gleason!
• Coach V shared a great story with the team about their fundraising efforts - she posted to social media about the 100 x 100 fundraising and a former BTW Swimmer, who holds one of the records, now lives in Australia, saw the post and made a very generous donation! It's exciting to hear that former Hornets are still making an impact on the swimmers of today!
