• Regular practice this week
• I would like to invite the parents to attend practices this week if they want to.  If parents when picking up the swimmers would like to come in and watch the remainder of practice they are welcome. Just knock on the door.
• Regionals is in two weeks - we will taper for regionals- parents how can you help with that, well, it’s easy: massage appts, cupping appts, chiropractors, cryogenic treatments are all great ways to help your athletes feel the best the week of regionals-we want these kids who have been enduring grueling work outs to be feeling the best they can!! This is not required but highly recommended that if your swimmer is going to regionals we try to get them in to some of the above treatments that week. This way they feel like a super hero going into the meet!!
• Rose Invitational Information
  • Swimmers were sent a google form to request a Rose T-shirt size. Please be sure to send cash with your kiddos (I would say at least $20-40) to cover the shirt and any personalization
  • Swimmers need to meet at the Education Service Center at 7:30 AM on Saturday. 3027 S New Haven Ave, Tulsa, OK 74114
    • The bus will leave at 7:45 am
  • Parents are definitely welcome to attend the meet - you might want to throw a couple lawn chairs in your car as it can get crowded in the stands with the swim teams. 

From the Booster Club

• Congratulations to the team for their 2nd place finish at the Jenks Invitational this weekend. It takes everyone's incredibly hard work to achieve this and we are so proud of all the swimmers and coaches!
• The Rose Invitational Pasta Party, hosted by Alex, Erica and Mia Irvine, is scheduled for this Friday, January 27th. This is the final full team pasta party for the year. Please be sure to help ensure all slots are filled.
• The next Booster Club meeting will be on February 9th via Zoom or Google Meet. At the end of the meeting, we will have a quick meeting for parents of State Team swimmers. This will provide some information, a time for questions, etc. Log in information will be provided in next Sunday's weekly email.
• Thank you to everyone who participated in the Chipotle Give Back Night. We'll know soon what the final donation ends up being.
• The annual Swim Banquet will take place in April. This event is led by the Junior Class and put on by junior parents. Lauren Henson is leading the planning efforts this year for us. If any junior parents wish to help on the committee, please reach out to Lauren at [email protected]. Be on the lookout for a Junior Parent meeting.
• Need to order swimsuits, caps, or goggles for practice? Shop Swimoutlet.com. We have a link on Swimtopia that will direct you to the shop and a percentage of those sales are donated back to BTW Swim Booster Club.
• If you need replacement equipment - paddles, fins, kickboard, etc. shop at our Swimquick Store.
• Amazon has announced that they are ending the Amazon Smile program by February 20th. Organizations will be able to accrue additional donations until the program officially closes in February. Once AmazonSmile closes, charities will still be able to seek support from Amazon customers by creating their own wish lists. If you currently have BTW Swim Booster Club as your selected charity, any purchase made on Amazon will still have a portion of the total donated to the team until the end of Feb. Thank you to those who have helped us utilize this funding opportunity.
