From the Coaches

• All state team members will practice from 3:00 – 5:30 after school until state. Those swimmers not on the state team will report to 7^thhour for study hall at the pool and be dismissed at 3:35. Please arrange rides and or plan to ride the bus home
• Additional Information for the State Team Members We will take a state team picture before practice tomorrow, so all state qualifiers and alternates please bring your team jacket and wear black bottoms.

From the Booster Club

• Congratulations to the team for their results at Regionals! Personal bests were achieved throughout the evening and we are extremely proud of the 16 swimmers who will represent Booker T Washington at the State Meet later this month!
• The next Booster Club meeting will be this Thursday, February 9th via Google Meet at 6:30 pm. You can join through this link. Please see the attached documents for meeting minutes of our last meeting as well as an agenda.
• Following the Booster Club meeting, we will have a quick meeting for parents of State Team swimmers. This will be a time for questions, information, etc.
• The annual Swim Banquet will take place in April. This event is led by the Junior Class and put on by junior parents. Lauren Henson is leading the planning efforts this year for us. If any junior parents wish to help on the committee, please reach out to Lauren at [email protected]. Be on the lookout for a Junior Parent meeting.
• Amazon has announced that they are ending the Amazon Smile program by February 20th. Organizations will be able to accrue additional donations until the program officially closes in February. Once AmazonSmile closes, charities will still be able to seek support from Amazon customers by creating their own wish lists. If you currently have BTW Swim Booster Club as your selected charity, any purchase made on Amazon will still have a portion of the total donated to the team until the end of Feb. Thank you to those who have helped us utilize this funding opportunity.
