From the Coaches

• Swimmer of the week will be announced on Monday due to the Rose meet being held over the weekend. 
• Congratulations to our entire team for a truly great meet on Saturday. Not only did the kids swim fast, but they had fun being part of an incredible team and cheering on their teammates. Thank you to all the parents and family members who came out to support the team. It means a lot to the coaches to see you in the stands. 
• Practice this week: 
  • Only the regional team will be practicing this week.
  • Practice will be M-W until 5pm, Thurs & Friday until 4:30. 
• Regional meet will be Saturday morning and swimmers will need to arrive at the Jenks aquatic center by 11:00 AM. We will not be taking a bus and if transportation is an issue for you, please reach out to Coach V. 
• Club Swimmers-Please e-mail Coach V your USA membership number ASAP so it can be used during championship meets and allow club state qualifications. 

From the Booster Club

•  CONGRATULATIONS to the team on an incredible ending to the regular season! The Rose Invitational had some amazing races for our swimmers, 2nd place finish for the boys, 1st place finish for the girls and 1st place finish for the team!
• The OSSAA 6A East Regionals Meet is this Saturday, February 3rd. Tickets are only being sold online. Click here to go to the OSSAA website; on the right side click on the red box "Click here to buy tickets to OSSAA playoff events". 
• For those who will advance to the state meet after regionals, there will be a parent meeting on Sunday evening, Feb 4th at 6:30 pm. Zoom link will be sent separately. It is vital that at least one parent of each swimmer attend as there will be important information shared including deadlines, ticket information, etc.
• Due to unforeseen circumstances, Val has let us know that she needs to step down as VP of the booster club board. We are incredibly grateful for her service, ideas and excitement for the team. 
• Have you wanted to do something for the team and not yet had the right moment? We are in need of a host for the regionals meet pasta party for this Friday, February 2nd. The host is responsible for providing pasta and sauce and everything else is provided by other parents. Please reach out to Sharon no later than Tuesday noon if you are able to host. 
• It is time to be thinking about next year and we need your help! We are looking for 5 people to help serve on the nominating committee for seeking individuals to serve in executive positions for the 2024-2025 year. If you are interested in assisting in this capacity, please reach out to Sharon; also, please consider saying yes if you are asked to serve on the committee. Thank you
