From the Coaches

• We are excited to see the swimmers back at school this week!
• Practice this week:
  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday-swim until 4:15
  • Wednesday, Friday optional water polo. Rides need to be there by 4
• Juniors, Please start thinking about being available for tryouts. I have opened the RSVP on Swimtopia.
• Parents and swimmers-Booker T. will be holding a lifeguard re-certification class on Saturday March 30th. These recertification classes are extremely difficult to come by and usually lifeguards just have to go through the entire certification process all over. The cost is $150 and will start at 9:00 AM at the pool followed by classroom time at coach V's house. So far we have 5 participants but would love to get more. Please let me know ASAP if you have a lifeguard who is interested. The swimmers are all aware of this opportunity.

From the Booster Club

• Congratulations and Thank You to Marc and Carla Roark who will be serving out the unexpired term for the remainder of this year, as Vice President/President-Elect!
• Join us for the annual swim banquet on Thursday, April 18, 6:00 pm, at Harvard Ave Christian Church (5502 S. Harvard Ave). The banquet is a great way to wrap up the swim year by recognizing our swimmers, celebrating our seniors, giving out awards, and the always popular end-of-season highlight video. Deadline to RSVP is Thursday, April 11^th. Cost per person is $16, swimmers will be covered by the booster club. Please RSVP for all attendees, including swimmers, on the Meets & Events page. Please indicate if vegetarian is preferred when RSVPing.

• Thank you to everyone who attended the Raising Cane's give back night prior to spring break.
• Seniors and non-returning swimmers - Reminder to return your parkas and any checked out equipment. Prior to returning, please machine wash separately in cold water and do NOT use any kind of laundry soap; hang to dry. If it is lost or damaged beyond repair there is a replacement cost of $150
• The annual float trip will be Monday, June 3rd. More details will be shared in the coming months. Because it will be a booster club sponsored activity swimmers will not be able to drive and we will need parents to serve as drivers and chaperones. RSVPs are open for swimmers; parents who will chaperone should both RSVP AND sign up under the chaperone job signup. Please RSVP here
