    BTW Swimmer's Weekly - May 5, 2024

    From the Coaches

    • Practice this week: We are back in the pool this week. 
      • Monday, Tuesday ,Thursday until 4 for swimming. 
      • Wednesday will be EITHER swim a set or play water polo until 4 (plan to get in Wed). 
      • Friday will be a free day or an outside day depending on the weather. We will excuse at normal time Friday.
    • Reminder ALL physicals will be invalid for 2023-24 school year as of May
      31st regardless of when athlete got theirs for this school year. All
      Physicals obtained as of May 1, 2024 will be good the 2024-25 year. In order
      to participate in summer practice, I will need a physical dated May 1 or
      later.
    • Tryouts will be June 4th from 5 until 6. Only rising seniors are invited
      to attend and should plan to be on deck and ready to go at 4:45. Juniors,
      go ahead and RSVP      .
    • We are currently looking for a new assistant coach. Please reach out to
      Coach V if you are interested or know someone who might be interested.
      • Required time is 3 to 5:30 through the season.
    • Summer practice will be M thru F from 3 to 5 and will start May 28th. We
      will spend a lot of time this summer on technique and building a cardio
      base. Dryland will be part of the practice.
      • Dates there will be no practice:
        • May 29
        • June 3- float trip
        • June 10 -14
        • July 1-5

    • Seniors - We want to celebrate the next chapter of your journey. As you finalize your post high school plans, please send a photo in your college gear along with your future study plans (if known) and we will share! Send your email to [email protected]
    • The annual float trip will be Monday, June 3rd. More details will be shared later this week in a separate email. Because it will be a booster club sponsored activity swimmers will not be able to drive and we will need parents to serve as drivers and chaperones. RSVPs are open for swimmers; parents who will chaperone should both RSVP AND sign up under the chaperone job signup. Please RSVP
    • If you have any team expenses that need to be reimbursed (Senior Night, Banquet, etc.) please submit them to Kevin no later than May 20th. If you have expenses that you are donating (do not want reimbursement) please send Kevin those totals and details. This information will assist us as we build the budget for next year.
