From the Coaches

• SOW-Good work Georgia for being this week's Swimmer of the week. Georgia has demonstrated hard work, dedication and commitment to task over the last couple of weeks. She is growing quickly as a swimmer and teammate. 
• Thank you to Coach K and Coach Addy for taking over this week! I heard great things all around! And thank you to the swimmers for being on their best behavior and flexible!
• Huge thank you to the booster club for sending me to Orlando for the ASCA World Clinic. It was a great experience and I learned so much that I can bring back to the team. I will be showing the swimmers a slide show tomorrow to let them see what I learned and experienced. Please ask them about it after practice! 
• Practice this week is everyday with Thursday being optional (see next item).
• Thursday will be picture day. We will meet at the historical building for 7th hour. Students who ride the bus or get picked up will be released by 3:35. Swimmers who drive will be the last to get pictures taken and can go home once pictures are completed. I will hold an optional practice for anyone who wants to swim that will end at 5pm. Please bring your black team jacket on Thursday for pictures. Freshmen can borrow if they don't have one yet. 
• Jackets- If you have not ordered a team jacket and need one, please get with Coach V ASAP.
• Please order team suits ASAP
• We will be using all of our gear in the next couple of weeks. Please make sure your swimmers have fins and a snorkel.
• I will be taking video of all of our swimmers over the next couple of weeks. I will share this video via email and include students and parents as I send out the video. 
• If your student will miss swim for any reason, please email [email protected].

• Thank you to all the parents who volunteered at last week's parent meeting. Here is the list of names of parents who volunteered. I have also updated swimtopia to reflect these names. As a reminder, the Vice President position is still open. Also I think someone volunteered to coordinate senior night but I don't have the name. Please let me know if you signed up for these positions or if I missed anything ([email protected])

• Parents and swimmers the link below is for swim team shirts. There are two different designs to choose from; the link will be active until Sunday, September 22 at 11:59 pm. Once the store closes it will take about three weeks for printing.

• We are still collecting swimmer dues ($100/swimmer; Due October 15) and taking payment/orders for swim caps and jackets! Caps are $10 each, jackets are $48.83. We also have some great looking BTW socks! Those are $15/pair.
  • Please send your payments to our swim team Venmo, @Timothy-Ford-153 or Tim can arrange to collect a check from you (made out to BTW Swim Booster Club).
  • In the subject/memo line, please indicate what you're paying for and your swimmer's size jacket if buying one of those.
  • We also will take any snack donations (money preferred) to help keep the swimmers' snack pantry stocked!
