• Swimmer of the week this week was Katherine. Katherine was brave this week and worked hard at overcoming fears. It was awesome to see her get out of the pool with a smile on her face and say "I'm not afraid anymore." She never lets up and never stops working hard. We are looking forward to watching her race and dominate wherever she ends up specializing. 
• Shout out to my Friday swimmers. As chaotic as it is on deck sometimes, I was so proud to see you come together as a team for the test set (for new parents, test sets are swims we do to measure progress and will repeat as the year goes on). Every one of you supported your teammates and stayed organized. It was affirming to see how seriously you took it and how hard you worked. Parents, ask your swimmers about it. I cannot wait for meets to start! 
• Practice this week will be normal schedule. 
• Swim caps and jackets have been ordered and will arrive before meets start.
• Please RSVP for bonding night through Swimtopia.
• If you signed up for a job for the Carl Albert meet, you may need to go and do it again. I changed the template and may have lost the data of who signed up.

• We are still collecting dues ($100 per swimmer; Due October 15) and taking payments for swim caps and jackets. Caps are $10 each, jackets are $48.83. Please send payments to the team via Venmo, @Timothy-Ford-153 or contact Tim ([email protected]) to arrange payment via check. Remember, in the memo line to indicate what & who you are paying for or swimmers size if it's for a jacket.
