From the Coaches

• Thank you to all of the volunteers who helped at the swim and to all of the parents (and siblings) who offered to help on short notice! We could not hold these meets without your help!
• SOW-Thanksgiving week, Helen was swimmer of the week. Helen made it to all 3 practices but Helen always makes it to practice. She is always at the pool and always in the pool. She never misses a set, never leaves early and always tries hard. Her commitment to the team has grown each year and she has emerged as a leader and a role model.
• SOW-This weeks swimmer of the week was Greg. This kids was made for the water. He loves practice and everything swimming. He tries so hard and never complains. Sometimes, it feels like, he would stay in the pool and just keep swimming all night. It is a joy to have him on the team and see his passion for the sport. It is going to be exciting to see what he does over the next four years. 
• Scheduling swim meets is difficult and I know we have back-to-back Thursday /Tuesday meets an it is not easy on families. However, this is our last home meet until Jan. 30^th. Please check the job sign up and help fill the spots. 
• Normal practice schedule this week.
• Swimmers drew for secret Santa. Price cap is $20. Please make sure you have your gift before the holiday party. 
• Holiday practice schedule:
  • No practice Dec. 23-27th
  • Hell week Dec. 30, 31 & Jan 2and 3 normal time. 100 x 100 challenge will be the morning of Saturday Jan. 4th.
  • All swimmers who are not traveling should plan to attend all holiday practices.

• We have a board meeting on Monday at 7:30pm. It will be short (30 minutes or less) please call in and join the meeting - the link is below.

• We will have pizza for sale at Tuesday's swim meet (for those of you looking for it at Thursday's meet, sorry but we had a miscommunication on the pizzas)
• It looks like we still need a few timers for Tuesday's swim meet. Thanks to all those who have been volunteering, the meets can not happen without your help.
• Be sure and check out all the pictures on Smug Mug; Lindsay (Georgia's mom) and Tom (Aaron's dad) have been doing a great job taking pictures at all the meets.
