• SOW-Mera was this week's Swimmer of the Week. Mera never skips practice or a set. Besides her perseverance, her positive energy is contagious. Mera has been swimming the 200 IM this season, one of the hardest events in terms of skill and endurance, and kicking butt! She is a wonderful new addition to the team and I cannot wait to see what she accomplishes in the next few weeks and seasons to come.
• This week we will hold to our normal pick up time except on Thursday, when kids will get picked up at 3:35 and practice will take place during our finals time slot during the school day.
• January 4th at 8AM is 100 x 100. Volunteer slots for counters are open on Swimtopia. Please consider signing up.
  • Parents and family members are encouraged to come and cheer for the end of the 100 x 100s. The event usually ends at 11:30 so a 10:30-11:00 arrival is ideal.
  • Swimmers, Please RSVP for 100 x 100 so we have a rough head count.
• The Lloyds would like to do Tacos for the holiday party so the sign-up has changed slightly. If you signed up for something, please check the sign up. Swimmers, you are welcome to sign up and procure items so the burden does not fall strictly to your parents.
• Holiday practice schedule:
  • No practice Dec. 23-27th
  • Hell week Dec. 30, 31 & Jan 2 and 3 normal time.100 x 100 challenge will be the morning of Saturday Jan. 4th.
  • All swimmers who are not traveling should plan to attend all holiday practices.

• Parents and swimmers: 100x100 donation links will go out this week. Be on the lookout for an email via Swimtopia from the board with your swimmer’s Square link and QR Code. Please share widely with friends and family and in social media. We did $4500 in donations last year. Let’s shoot for $5000 this year!
