    BTW Swimmer's Weekly - December 29, 2024

    From the Coaches

    • I hope everyone enjoyed their holiday break! I'm excited to get back to the pool and see my swimmers.
    • Practice this week:
      • No practice on Wednesday.
      • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday-Pool opens at 2:45. Be there by 3pm. We will swim until 5:15-5:20. Rides should be there no later than 5:30. 
    • Saturday is 100 x 100-Pool open at 7:30. Swimming starts promptly at 8AM. Please do not be late.
      • We still need 5 counters. Please arrive by 7:45 and sign up on the jobs menu. RSVP does not show as signing up to count.
      • All family and friends are welcome to come and cheer for 100 x 100. The initial swim will end at 11:30 so a great time to show up is 10:30 to 11 to cheer the team to the end. It really helps the swimmers get through the last hour.  

    From the Booster Club

    • All swimmers should have received an email with their individual sites for the 100x100 fundraiser. Remember the swimmer that raises the most money will get a $150 Amazon gift card, second place gets a $100 gift card, and third place gets a $50gift card.
      • As a reminder, funds raised will be used to purchase team equipment.
      • Please let Carla know if you need your personal square site to be re-sent
    • The 100x100 fundraiser is going well--we just cleared the halfway mark to our goal of $5000 with 6 days to go! We have 46 donations totaling $2865. We have 17 swimmers with donations--let's get that number up--even a few dollars from everyone would go along way. Here is the leaderboard:
